Otro de los estrenos con los que nos hemos levantado este viernes es el del nuevo videoclip de Foo Fighters.
Tras Rope, el segundo single de su reciente disco Wasting Light es Walk y cuyo videoclip se ha estrenado oficialmente hace unas horas en las diversas plataformas de MTV.
Una vez más, Foo Fighters han vuelto a hacer gala de su sentido del humor y gamberrismo en un nuevo vídeo.
Esta vez lo han hecho gracias a Sam Jones, quien firma este videoclip, mediante una recreación de aquella mítica peli de 1993 titulada Falling Down que nosotros conocemos como Un Día de Furia.
Os recuerdo que, por si no la tenéis presente, estaba protagonizada por Michael Douglas y dirigida por Joel Schumacher, en la que es posiblemente la peli más interesante de su filmografía, más allá de sus adaptaciones de las novelas de John Grisham o la mítica Jóvenes Ocultos.
De este modo tenemos a Dave Grohl mutado en Michael Douglas, me refiero en vestimenta y situaciones del film del 93, comenzando el videoclip en una atasco.
Éste es el punto de partida de su huída urbana e inicio de su caótico cúmulo de despropósitos.
Sin duda alguna, lo mejor del vídeo son las frases que lee mientras está en el atasco y que provocan la ida de olla como, por ejemplo, Punk Is Dead, Thank You President Bush, Bieber Is My Copilot o la pegatina que pone simplemente Coldplay, que aunque no comparta es un puntazo.
