Actualmente Kelly Rowland está enfrascada en la preparación de su nuevo álbum, el tercero sin sus Destiny’s Child, que publicará este año con Motown Records.
Uno de los temas que probablemente se incluya en él sea la cover que se acaba de conocer del How Deep Is Your Love de Bee Gees junto al enorme Michael Bublé.
Siguiendo la línea de la versión que en 2001 hicieron las Destiny’s Child de Emotion, escrita también por Bee Gees, Rowland se la juega versionando uno de los grandes clásicos de los hermanos Gibb y uno de mis preferidos, por moña que sea.
Quien no arriesga no gana, o algo así dice el refrán, y en mi opinión Rowland, esta vez, ha ganado.
Ante el escepticismo de la enésima cover del tema, ha ido sobre seguro contando con Michael Bublé con el que ha logrado una gran versión, más pausada pero que mantiene el romanticismo original llevándoselo a un terreno más soul y jazz que el original.
