Este inspirador directo, emitido por la BBC2, confirma los merecidos 2 premios que anoche la revista británica NME entregó a MGMT (The Management para los más fanáticos) como mejor banda revelación y mejor track por su single Time to Pretend.
El tema pertenece a su primer disco Oracular Spectacular producido por Dave Fridmann (Weezer), y forma parte de la banda sonora de la película 21.
Sin duda es un tema pegadizo con sonidos que inspiran libertad y “good vibrations”.
Y como si fuera poco, su letra irónica lleva moraleja porque invita a todos los artistas del mundo a mantener la cabeza y no dejarse llevar por los excesos de la fama (entiéndase sexo, droga y rock & roll): …This is our decision, to live fast and die young…We’ll choke on our vomit and that will be the end.
