El escogido ha sido If I Had You, tercer extracto de su álbum debut For Your Entertainment.
Este If I Had You es uno de los temas más bailables del disco donde mezcla su parte más rockera con sonidos más electrónicos.
La canción, como casi todo el disco, me gusta, a pesar de ese sample sospechosamente parecido al de Wear My Kiss de Sugababes.
El videoclip, aunque se venda como una reivindicación en cuanto a la discriminación racial, no deja de ser una fiesta psicodélica en un bosque nocturno.
Allí se juntan personajes de todo tipo, con una estética cuidada, donde destaca el cameo de Allison Iraheta, una de las compañeras de Lambert en su edición de American Idol.
En definitiva, todo muy resultón y efectivo.
