Sí chicos, el profesor Will Schuester debuta en solitario sin sus alumnos de Glee.
Por supuesto, me refiero al actor Matthew Morrison que, gracias al tirón mundial de la serie musical de la FOX, acaba de estrenar su primer single titulado Summer Rain.
A sus 32 años debutará en la industria discográfica con un álbum que se espera se ponga a la venta el próximo mayo.
Con la seguridad de la repercusión mediática gracias a su papel en Glee, Morrison lanzará a través de Mercury Records su primer disco, para el que ha contado con productores de lujo.
En los créditos del álbum encontraremos los nombres de Claude Kelly, productor de gente como Britney Spears o Bruno Mars, o el dúo noruego Espionage, culpables de éxitos para Beyoncé, Chris Brown o aquel Hey, Soul Sister de Train.
Precisamente a este último, es a lo que recuerda este Summer Rain que ya no sólo por el título, sino por la producción, el banjo, la letra y lo pegadizo puede seguir los pasos de éxito veraniego que consiguieron Train el año pasado.
Si a eso le sumamos los millones de fans de Glee puede que estemos ante uno de los grandes hits del verano 2011.
Por el momento, veremos la acogida del público a partir del 8 de marzo cuando se ponga la venta en iTunes.
