Sin que sirva de precedente, en tan sólo dos meses desde su lanzamiento oficial, ya ha llegado a nuestro país el primer single de Pixie Lott, Mama Do (Uh Oh, Uh Oh).
El 14 de septiembre saldrá a la venta Tune It Up, el álbum debut de esta actriz, cantante y compositora británica de 18 añitos.
Con un pasado de teatro musical como actriz en Chitty Chitty Bang Bang del West End londinense, no era de extrañar que llegase a nuestro país, ya que ha colado el single en listas de medio mundo: Nueva Zelanda, Holanda, Bélgica y, por supuesto, Reino Unido donde ya ha sido número uno.
Hace unas semanas pensaba que no era más que una mezcla entre Duffy y Pink, resultona y prefabricada.
Hoy sigo pensando lo mismo, pero que tiene talento y una voz que, con el directo que os pongo, comprobaréis que es más que interesante y con unas tablas de musical evidentes.
Veremos si progresa adecuadamente, aunque saber que en su disco hay alguna producción de RedOne, me echa pelín para atrás.
