Como ya os comentaba ayer con el adelanto, Mariah Carey tiene nuevo single y ya se ha estrenado oficialmente al completo.
Me refiero a Triumphant (Get ‘Em), canción que comparte con Rick Ross y Meek Mill y con la nos presenta el que será disco número catorce de su carrera.
Ayer os decía que hacía buena pinta y así es, aunque cabría esperar más.
Si un primer single acostumbra a ser una llamada de atención para fans y no fans, un reclamo de un nuevo disco, esta vez no es así.
Me refiero que el tema es pegadizo, contar con uno de los colectivos hip-hop más de moda, Maybach Music Group, y que sea de Mariah Carey son suficientes reclamos, aunque se queda a medias.
Mariah Carey ha creado, con ayuda de Bryan-Michael Cox y Jermaine Dupri un mid-tempo R&B de aires noventeros, un terreno donde la hemos visto mil y una vez.
No ha optado por tomar ciertos riesgos, como por ejemplo la inclusión de sonidos dance o dubstep como estamos viendo en muchos artistas que buscan reinventarse o hacer guiños musicales a tendencias actuales.

La reciente nombrada jurado de American Idol ha declarado que este tema lo compuso cuando pasaba por un mal momento y componerlo le ayudó a superarlo, algo que contrasta al escuchar el tema y dos terceras partes la deja en manos de dos raperos.
Bueno, aún así, nos vamos a hartar de escucharlo.
